Commera LLC is a commercial financing broker. We are not a bank, not a direct lender, and not a marketplace that blasts your application to dozens of funders. We are a small, focused brokerage that matches businesses with the right funding partner based on their specific revenue profile, industry, and funding need.
We started because we saw what bad brokering looks like — buried fees, stacking deals, ignored calls after closing. We chose to build a different kind of shop.
The Broker Model: How It Actually Works
We earn our fee from the funder, not from you. This means our cost to you is zero. It also means our incentive is a clean, funded deal — not a fee on a bad placement.
Here's how it works: You apply for funding. We review your profile and match you with 3–5 carefully selected funding partners. One of them funds you. That funder pays us a commission (typically 3–8% of the advance). You never pay us anything.
Some brokers earn more by placing you with higher-cost funders. We disclose this model upfront and match based on fit, not margin. Your outcome matters more to us than our commission.
Our Commitments to You
We Won't Overcredit You
We will not submit your application if you already have an active advance that would create an unsustainable repayment burden. We'd rather decline a deal than put your business at risk. We get paid nothing for saying no.
Quality Over Quantity
We submit to 3–5 carefully selected funders per application, not 50. Fewer offers means less confusion, faster decisions, and cleaner terms. You work with a person who understands your business, not a form that gets blasted everywhere.

We're a lean team. We don't have a 200-person operation with a fancy office. What we have is deep knowledge of MCA underwriting, a curated funder network, and a genuine commitment to your outcome. When you apply, you work with a person who has read your application and understands your business.
